hi all
after our efforts to contact someone in taiwan
positive answer
we will be hosting a teacher and craftsman for the 2015 toupie du monde festival in Feb
we have just received some documentation from Taiwan
here it's Mr Liu's  shop

Love that picture.  Now that I am using a lathe I appreciate it even more.  So much to look at!!!

Maybe Johnm can recognize the lathe from some previous video?  :-\

I've not seen that one before.  It looks like a nice old gap bed metal working lathe with the cross-slide and compound removed and replaced by a typical wood turning lathe banjo (which might be damaging the ways  :'( )
