music ideas for freestyling
« on: November 09, 2009, 03:13:48 PM »

I know it is kind of early to be talking about music for freestyling.  After all, we are 9 months away from worlds and 11 months away from nationals.  But I just had to share my new music idea.  It was featured last night at the end of Mad Men on AMC and is very nearly three minutes long!

The group is Hotpipes and my middle son is the drummer for the group!  The song was also featured in an episode of Gilmore Girls.

And she digs engineers? Triple hot!  ;D

If you get your music set now it would be great. I never could settle on my music until the last minute. Your son could do some arrangements specific for your freestyle. Like a drum roll . . . ;)

Skip that version and go w/this one...gets to the chorus quicker and a bit more upbeat....and it's FREE (see download link)  ;D

But if I use this version there will be dead air at the end of the freestyle!  I like Harold and Maude and I like this version but it is too short.  I need three minutes of music.

Of course, I could use this version.  It gets the chorus VERY quickly and it is very close to the time needed.

Any other good ideas for music?
