Thanks Kevin! I'm still a little bit in shock about it but I'm now super motivated to step up my game even more and develop a freestyle for September's Border Battle! I was confident I would be crowned Kansas state champion (as the only Kansas resident in the competition????) but I was amazed when I placed first. It's strange for me to be so into competing with spin tops because I never felt that way about yoyoing. Any way huge props to Blake and Chris for organizing the contest and to Bryce, Adam, Scott, and Nick for coming in to support it. I'm hoping we can make an even bigger showing next year!

I can't believe I was one away from Scott and also can't believe I missed hacky top. I'd probably done it 5 times that day prior to getting on stage.
