On the first picture of the top sculpture, there appears to be something on the crown of it.  Could that be snow?  It doesn't quite look like snow but I am not sure what else it could be.

I think you are correct Mike. 
I did a blowup and it looks like icicles on the left side from melting snow on the crown.

(sharp eyes my friend!)

It probably never snows on the ranch so you may not have noticed the snow, Cecil.  But to us Ohio top spinners, snow is significant on our tops.  It makes our spins pretty wobbly. 

ps...thanks for your kind comments about my eyes, Larry D.  The truth is, though, I am slowly slipping away in that department (like some other departments).
