Finally, spintops conquer the iPhone generation  It seems this game for the iOS and Android platforms is becoming very popular in Spain:



It was developed by the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain (the hometown city of Trompos Space).

I will finally get my kids to play with tops!

EDIT: From the official site:
The FREE version has the first 6 levels of the first Road world and the first 4 circuits of the Racing mini-game.
The full version ($1.99) includes the 12 levels of each world (36 levels of full action), the mini-games Survival and Maths  , along with the rest of the Racing circuits.

Downloaded it on my phone...man do I suck!     Quick, someone give me a real top so I don't feel like such a loser     

Seriously though, I can't wait to show this game to the kids at school, they'll totally dig it.

I tried it on an tablet and it is fun. It reminded me a lot the top mazes from The Toycrafter. I am definitely getting the full version

This game will only work with smart phone or a tablet, either running iOS (Apple) or Android. Because it uses the tilt sensors to control the game, it couldn't work the same way on a computer.  If you have one of those, the links to the respective marketplaces for downloading are in the official site.

Today I tried it on an Android phone and it seemed somewhat more difficult than on an iPad. I like it much more on the tablet, I think it is more natural for the game. It is still quite challenging.

I am at the Phoenix airport on my way to Sacramento. I tried the game on the plane and did 4 or 5  levels. It was fun and challenging.  But I suspect the physics aren't quite right. I  could not control the precession and, of course, no plate regens!

Unfortunately, I will not have time to drive to Chico or visit the players south of here.

I completed a while ago the first 6 free levels of the free version of Spintop Adventure (including all the yellow diamonds).  I still need to download the paid version.
