Greetings!

Hi all. My name is Cole and I am new here on Jorge's site. I met Jorge at worlds a few years back and am the sports ladder champ from that year too (good story if a bit sad). I just thought I would de-lurk and become more active here.

@Mike: Thanks. I have ASD and love anything that spins, flaps, or rocks but I'm not so good with people but I really want to be a part of the spinning community.

@Catherine : I love your videos on youtube. Yes about the ASD. It made me feel good to see all the kids throwing tops on your videos. I'm sorry I wasn't clear in the previous message, I forget about others not knowing things I know.

Thanks Cole,

I made a guess about ASD and it turns out I was correct, but just to be sure I Googled it and came up with:

Anchorage School District
Atrial Septal Defect
American School Directory
Advanced System Designs

..and many more before I found the site that confirmed a link to Autism.

I have a very adorable first grader at my school who has ASD.  I'm always trying to encourage him to spin tops w/the other children but the best I've managed so far, is to get him to be the announcer when we play battle-tops.  He loves yelling out "Ready Steady Throw"  :)

Are you sure it doesn't stand for Acute Spin(top) Disorder? Because that is endemic around here. Very contagious and no cure.
