Bamboo # 1 and wood # 1
« on: December 04, 2011, 05:29:57 AM »

I managed to make my first 2 spins of a normal size, this is the result, they have a lot of vibration, but I have no very precise machines ... :-[

6 centimeters in diameter and 7.6 long,

5 centimeters in diameter and 7.1 long.
 ;D ;D ;D I'm happy ;D ;D

trompillo,

Good results without having precise equipment!
I like the mix of interesting wood grains.

They look really nice, nice work!

Great job!

In fact, he used grinder to rotate the wood (taking out one of the grinding wheels and sticking the wood there). For tools he used screwdrivers he had sharpened!  :o  He makes me feel guilty with a little used lathe sitting in my garage!  :-[
