Wow, I cannot believe you saw Alan's tops in Italy!  That is amazing.

That is wonderful, Dick! I am very glad at least one member of the forum saw the tops in person.
I confess I underestimated you: I thought once in the cruise you would forget everything about the top spinning world! It you tow Bev or did she do her own thing?

I'm glad you were persistent Dick and got to see them in person. That is very cool. Thanks for the story. Enjoy the remainder of your trip.

The Russian Embassy building ended up weighing 200 plus pounds. The artist did not want to take a chance of the weld on the base plate breaking and the building falling on someone. So now it represents the fall of the soviet union. Had I known it would be displayed on it's side, I could have just cut one hole in the mirrored stainless steel ball for the tip.
