Don, I'm so glad you have Nimbus! You are of course free to enjoy that top in whichever way you see fit. Hopefully those that want to play with something similar will get a chance soon. Also, if some part of that top fails in some way, I want to know, and I want to fix it. The PVC will nick and scuff easy but should never split. It is intended to wear its marks well, like a Watts
If you watch the second video I posted, you'll see that I use the thick rope for the throwing and the thin rope for playing:
Throw it tip away a little bit, and you have to be a little agressive on the pull back for a boomerang. Try a throw to the ground first, it's a long rope so aim a little farther away from you than normal... Unless you use long ropes normally of course
