about corkscrew :
i was wondering if anyone had shot a video of your 11 wraps record

besides i'm happy to tell you that i have finally mastered this trick
and can now do it consistently ( lapin has helped me a lot)
 6 wraps with QS
5 wraps with BK
4 wraps with blizzard
3 wraps with the big bearing top(with change of string)

ps : you can laugh , but for me it's a great improvement :-)

That is wonderful Jim! If you can do 6 wraps you have truly mastered it.  And you may be able to go even higher with your new Throwback.  I always thought it would be a perfect trick for your shows.  Congrats!

Yes, I recorded the corkscrew challenge. I know the tape eventually ran out, but hopefully not before I broke the record (I haven't checked yet). Right now I am  working on the video of the lightbulb battle. It should be up this weekend.

it's a shame to say that but it's true  : exactly like for yoyos,alu tops are so much easy to spin
with the QS the corkscrew is a breeze : it's so stable you have plenty 'o ' time for the wraps and then it slides down slowly
and even accepts a shirt sleeve , even a jumpers sleeve

take your time for the vids and be careful with the glass chips
