So here's my new case, I went with 2 different sized round holes and an antique violin case.

Well 'played'.  I like the nifty storage bin under the neck area.  8)

Actually, I found them much easier to cut out tha spheres.  Four little snips of the scissors and I had a small one.  Then I cut four bigger pieces and so on until I had the size I wanted.........................

I am modifying this message.  I was answering the message at the end of page one.  I totally missed page two and all the great pictures of the violin case.  That is an awesome case!  Good work.  As one who likes to try to play instruments, I find it very exciting.  I wonder if I can modify my sousaphone case?  (just joking, of course, as my sousaphone doesn't have a case - right now, anyways!).

Good work, Free!!!!

i see a lot of yoyos that look like they are for 3a. is that true? I'm a fellow 3a player. as far as your case goes, i think that was a great idea. everything looks like it fits very well and you will look cool carrying it!!!

Very cool case!

The only problem is that people will wonder if you have a violin or a machine gun in there . . .

As long as I don't get arrested for intent to carry, I should be alright.

Topper, I've recently started messing with single handed binds but I haven't started doing 3a yet. I get nervous when I think about it for some reason (maybe I'm easily confused  :o). I still can't do 2 handed looping but I have spent a lot of time teaching my left hand (I'm right handed) to loop, so I can do one at a time or sometimes both in sync. After I get some more tricks down with tops I'll probly start working on it.

Someone else here on the forums who does both spintops and 3a is Daren Kim, I see him messing with it at yoyo/spintop club anyway.

Awesome case... now i gotta look around for something creative to make a case out of...

hahaha!
I don't know how many times I missed that jim, but I agree.

hey ta0, am I ever going to find a shade of font color that exactly matches the background color for the forum?
or is the background color dependent upon my computer settings?
alice blue seems to be pretty close
