Visit to the Nagoya koma museum
Re: Visit to the Nagoya koma museum
Hello TaO. I have followed you spinning tops advertures in Japan and am very impressed that you are the world champion over there but most of all i enjoyed your report of your visit to the spinning top museum in Nagoya! Thank you for sharing this on the forum. Although I have been in Japan many times I was never able to see the museum. And because I do not know if i will be able to go to Japan in future, your report means a lot to me. Kind regards, Lourens.

Thanks for making/sharing this Ta0. What a spectacular place! What were the words on the kittys? We all lived this through you and are grateful for your time and effort to share.

Re: Visit to the Nagoya koma museum
It is my pleasure to share it.
Lourens: your collection is now on top of my list of collections I want to visit
I still need to post the nice literature that Koma no Ochan gave me. And list the tricks they are using for their ladder (this will take some work).
I think I will split this thread between the Japanese players association and the museum so I can move the later to the collector's board.

Not sure if this has been posted but even if it has, it seems to fit here quite well.....

Re: Visit to the Nagoya koma museum
Sandeep, ITSA's Indian Ambassador, just visited the Nagoya museum.
Hiroko, Fujita, Sandeep and Suchitra:

Receiving instructions from Oncle Koma:

I think Sandeep was more interested in the koma shop at the front of the museum
:

and this is his haul:

By the way, some of us will visit the museum after the this year's world contest in Tokyo. In fact, the plan is to have a koma tour organized by Taka.

The giant koma at the museum was spun (first time?):

I think the way they did it is the best way.
