Total JOY!!!
The top arrived just now!!!

It arrived at my office (Just 3 days shipping!)
This is one of the nicest weather days here on Long Island since May.
It is just perfect for being outdoors and for getting acquainted with my new Magnificent, Beautiful, Stunning Watts’ Top.  How perfect is that!!!!

I can't wait to get home, don my goggles and give it a whirl.

Walter you are the best!
(Oh, did I mention that I'm very excited?)

Larry,  So glad the Watts' Top got there ok.  3 day is not bad.  Do have a great time spinning.
I spent a bit of time  working on my next bunch of tops this afternoon.  I always try to make them better then before.   :)

Hello Walter,

Are the metal tips for your new batch already shaped/made?

I seem to recall you said you try to turn them by the batch.

Cheers.

Congratulations Larry!!!!! :D :) :-*   I notice you are over 60 which qualifies your as a "Kid" yet.  Glad you  got the Watts' Top and are enjoying it.

The question about the tips.  I made a batch last winter while serving at the Africa Inland Mission Retirement Center in FL.  Had spare time and turned out about 65 for 4 and 5 inch tops.  I still have to polish them here at home.

On another note.  I had the fun of roughing out 17   four inch bass wood tops yesterday afternoon.  That was lots of fun.  I still have a long way to go on them but still enjoyed the afternoon.
