The fault is all of FIFA for not accepting video replay. They are ultra conservative (starting by the English) and hurt the sport.

If they ask me, I would also make the goals 1 meter wider to increase the goals per game. But not only FIFA but most fans would consider that heresy. So I guess they get what they deserve . . .

I am completely with you on replay.  We have the technology and should use it for a very few things.  Not on judgement calls, even the NFL will not do that.

Have you seen the demonstration of a penalty kick about the area a keeper can cover if he guesses correctly and starts early.  You might want to delete the keepers use of hands, it would do the same thing for scoring as making the goal wider.  More scoring does not make the game more exciting/interesting.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Although a final between Paraguay and Uruguay is highly improbable, a "guay" match is still possible for the third place as it just requires one upset (*). Of course, Pulp would not like to see that  ;)

(*) Ghana-Uruguay can go both ways but Spain is a clear favorite against Paraguay.

Ok, I predict semifinals Uruguay vs. Brazil and Argentina vs. Spain, and final Argentina vs Brazil.

Football is the crappiest sport of the world... 12 stupid guys running behind a ball and earning so much millions to do what a 5 years old kid is able to do... hit on a ball and fakin a pain...
If you really think about it, all sports are like that if you look at it negatively, I could make tons of examples of the sports you like. :D

p.s. A 5-year old can play American Football, Baseball, and just about any other sport.

I bought a rhythm instrument today from a music store.  It is made out of the shells of some kind of nuts.  When I got it home and viewed it closely guess what I found out.  It was made in Ghana......the victors over the US in the world cup!  I felt like they were having one more laugh at me!!!
