politics in France/big relief !

hi all
yesterday was the second round of the elections for deputies
at the 1st round, the national front (xtreme right)
was leading at almost 40 % of votes

but at the 2 nd round yesterday.,
a strong coalition against xenophobic ideas really happened

its been a relief for many people,
even if some leftists had to vote social democrats, and the reverse happend too
republicains voting for the left
in a barrage against the NF

the problems remain ,:
medium wages . security, ecology,
the war in europe ..etc

Thanks for the political update.  I appreciate it.  France has gone through so much over the years.  I am glad there is some relief on the part of many people.  We are also hoping for some relief over here in the U.S. but the assassination attempt of Donald Trump has just ramped things up even more.
