Ultimate Battle Top Championships
« on: June 17, 2024, 09:55:03 AM »

Dave Schulte is organizing a battle top competition at US Yo-Yo Nationals next weekend in Philadelphia:

Dave's "Battletop Extravaganza" is Saturday. I love that is prominently featured in the schedule. Here is the complete schedule:

These battles generally have very cool custom trophies. Mark Hayward started them around 2010 at US Nats and he used to make the trophies that had some moving action involved. He recently won first place for the first time, but the contest was kept stealthy  ::)

I hope some of you can make it.

Yes, it’s going to be great!
It has been hard to get spintop players at the Yo-Yo events since we split the skilltoy events, but I am doing my best!

Oh, and the Midwest regional yo-yo championship spin top battle was not kept stealthy.

It has been listed on the MWR website Every year, and we always have a battle in my backyard.

This year we had had 12 players, and Hayward came out on top!

I consider stealthy any spintop event I'm not aware of  ;D
