the Olympic Games will open in exactly 3 months
Paris will be full of sports enthusiasts
my brother simon has been hired as volunteerin the village
we have booked tickets for a few  compétitions
so here is my offer :

Unfortunately, it's out of my budget (there is no top spinning competition, I believe  ) One of my sisters is going with her family (her husband is French). Also a nephew (from another sister) with his girlfriend, but they will be hooking up with the other ones.

Hopefully, it will be a festive time in Paris (no protests, etc.)

the opening ceremony is scheduled from 7.30 pm until 11pm
it will take place on the Seine , with the international delegations  parading on boats

I hope everything will happen smoothly , despite the risk of rain///...

the opening cérémony was a real success
very artsy and with a poetic and libertine mood

despite a few old farts and grumpy people 's critics on some " shocking" scenes ( some of which have been censored on NBC, Arabic countries, etc..)
it has showcased a positive image of France with a mix of culture tradition and also diversity  ,modernity, fashion, ///(...).
