Chonkake meeting

We JTTF member went to Kumamoto prefecture to join chonkake annual meeting. Momotaro Sakashita and a lot of chonkake player practice at kumamoto Castle every weekends. The first or seconds Sunday in April, they hold the general meeting and practice meeting.

It's very nice that Toku and you could attend the annual the meeting of the Chonkakegoma Preservation Society and represent the JJTF.
It's a pity that Kumamoto is so far from Tokyo and it would be difficult for me to visit. I remember there was a big earthquake a few years ago.
So Toku went by plane (from Tokyo?) and you by train (from Nagoya) to Kumamoto? This video reminded me when I took the bullet train to Nagoya: I couldn't understand anything the ticket said, except the date.

Great demo there, even doing the one-handed cartwheel whip! Also the way you played the Chonkakegoma, that is somewhat different than the traditional way and could serve as inspiration for them.

I went to Kumamoto from Kyoto by shinkansen and Tokku from Tokyo by plane. I moved to Kyoto from Nagoya. I have lived in Kyoto for 2 years. Tokku went to Tokyo on Saturday to go to a concert.
