Big Tops
« on: September 29, 2022, 05:10:38 PM »

This is Pinky and MellO taking a spin in the shop.  Really I'm just trying to figure out how to use a new computer so I can share the fun, enjoy!

Those are really big tops! :o And spin nicely!  8)
Are they mostly spun with an electric drill or running away with a rope?

I can spin them with a rope for about 2-3 minutes or an impact gun for about 7-8 minutes

Very nice, paulstewart!!!  It is great to see you posting and even greater to see your fine creations.  You have been at this a while if you have ice spinning pictures.

I've been woodturning for 40 years, but only started making Big Tops in 2020.  Pinky spinning on the river is from spring 2021.  Will post more as I learn how to use a computer, which I find less intuitive than spinning things.
