These are the first photos I propose:
Venice by CuperThe rules say it should be credited to the photographer, who was Cuper, but I feel I had a lot to do with this one: Cuper was actually taking the photo with a mini cuper laying on the side and not spinning, as he was afraid it could fall into the canal. I thought it was silly to have a non-spinning top, took out my Giulia, threw a boomerang and placed it on the bridge . . .
Trentino Air by ta0This is the village (Por, Pieve di Bono) in the Trentino mountains in which one of my great grandparents from my mother's side was born. I arrived by car and stopped to take a photo of the village name on the wall of the first house with Figaro spinning on my hand. At the same time a car was parking on the house across the road and a woman came out with some groceries. She looked at me curiously and I took advantage to ask her to help me take the photo. She agreed and after she took it I explained to her why I was there. She then asked the last name of my mother, and lo and behold was the same as hers! Out of 150 families in the village, 3 have that last name. She ended up inviting me to have tea with her mother. Thanks Figaro!
