We should make much account of music more, I think, because no one consider the music they use if we don't do this. I'm sure that doing tricks to music for competitors is more difficult and fantastic than doing tricks not to music. In my opinion, if a competitor do tricks not to music, it is no worth using music. So we should give some points to some competitors who do tricks to music.
Now according to the rules, I cannot find the sentence about this. If the judges have already made much account of music, we should write down it on the rules.

In the open division, 15% of the score is for "showmanship and overall quality and interest of the performance". Music use would fall under this. So it counts, but is a small part. The score is mainly technical. I imagine different judges give it more or less weight. I love how Quentin uses the music on his 4A freestyles, so I imagine he gave it more weight as a judge.
In the traditional freestyle, where the performance is 30% of the score, it can have more effect on the total score.
Even without the tricks synchronized to the music, the music adds to the attractiveness of the freestyle, so we should have it.
