yin yang spin top logo made by me!
« on: November 11, 2021, 02:55:55 PM »

hello folks,

A day ago , I had this idea in my head of making a kind of logo with spin tops and yin yang combined. (Mostly these ideas just pop in my head for no reason!)
I don't know if it already exists somewhere. I did not searched it on Google...
I wanted to draw it first, but I suck at drawing tops! So I decided to do it on my computer.
After collecting some images on Google, I edited them. Removed the dots on the yin yang symbol and made a outline of the spin top image.
I just used Paint3D ,a cutting tool program and Word .
It took a while, but it was worth it! I am very happy how it turned out!
I'm thinking on using it on a T-Shirt or a cap  :D.
What do you guys think?

Very nice!  8)

I think I need a T-shirt with that logo  ;)

When I was designing my patch, I had the idea that it should reference the yin yang symbol which is part of Taoism (being my spintop nickname ta0). Something like that could have worked. The patch I finally designed has the white/black ying/gang contrast but not the swirling:

Great design!

I find that the tops change the meaning of the symbol in an interesting way. In my mind, the original paints a picture of 2 separate entities (the circles) in harmonious interdependence. But no suggestion as to how circles ended up in this relationship.

The tops pointing at each other across the central boundary make the continued back-and-forth needed to achieve and maintain this state explicit -- at least where humans are concerned.

Thanks everyone!
If you want, you can use it Ta0  :).
I wanted to share this with you all, so feel free to use it!
Maybe I should make an account on Redbubble  ::). You can use your own personal design for printing it on almost everything. It's a webshop. My sister made me some amazing things.
Feel free to use it. I'm thinking about printing it on a cap.

I like this a lot. Thanks for giving this to us. You're right, it should be on a cap/t-shirt/bag/whatever.
