By the way, this morning I connected by zoom with Japan, to test Jun, Kanta, Naonari and Tokku as freestyle judges so they can be certified ITSA judges.

I saw you registered for both Open and Traditional freestyles. You will need two different videos this year to enter both.

Next: to update the ladder tricks. Any suggestions?

I propose we keep the one handed lasso, but replace the one handed trapeze and the behind the back boomerang to OHL with other tricks. I feel like we should include one Sun as a replacement, but I can't think of another trick for the other one.

We received the first video for the competition, from Juan Henao of Colombia, who is competing in both Traditional and Youth (he is 13).

We have 10 early registrations, mostly from Japan in Open and Colombia in Traditional. I don't think we will have the same large number of competitors as last year, but please spread the word. Also consider participating: it's your chance to place on a world contest!

So far we have registered in each division:

Open: 12
Traditional: 11
Ladder: 0
Women: 2
Youth: 2

Most of the players are either from Japan (mostly Open!) or Colombia (mostly Traditional). Today we got the first registration from Europe. None from Mexico yet (procrastinators . . .).
Hopefully, registrations will start picking up soon. We need at least 5 competitors for a division to happen.

If you are not freestyling, you should consider entering the ladder: it's fun with little stress and will for sure improve your play. And who knows, you may get a Worlds medal

We have our first 20 competitors registered. I hope to get at least to 50.

Nobody has registered for ladder yet. If it continues like this I will have to challenge some guys (e.g. The Earl) for the fastest top in town

We have 25 contestants registered, with the open division dominated by the Japanese and the traditional division by the Colombians.
We have already 4 youth and 4 women registered, so those divisions almost have the minimum necessary. But none for the ladder.
We are still missing all the Mexicans. I expect several more from Spain. Who else? Only 2 players from the US so far . . .
