The by-laws allow other meetings during the year. The General Assembly is an opportunity for the membership to participate in the steering of the association but it's not meant to decide everything. One option is to have the discussions beforehand and then just vote during the assembly. We did a little of that with respect to the online contests, but we need more active participation from more members.
