Thanks a lot Chris, this is a lot of work for you, I appreciate it and I know that someday you will be highly rewarded!!!...but for now I cant wait to receive and to play with my shinny, cupery, Geradory Top...

(I am back to the big city (Montevideo) until Monday when I start the trip home, so I will have internet connection until then)

Anybody who has seen my anodized HPs knows that I like them with the "players patina": dinged and scratched ;-)

(It is going to take me a long time to read all that has been written these two weeks, so don't expect me to post as I am still on vacation :-) Anyway, I don't have much to report related to tops yet, but tomorrow I am meeting the Tomaldo, the spintop craftsman)

Received mine today and they are awesome. Thanks again Chris for heading this up.

I just got mine from the  post office thanks again Chris, this thing is amazing.

IT'S HERE!!!! Thanks Chris, what a little piece of heavy metal beauty, it plays marvelous!!!

I like Neff's logo better...is there a future plan for a Neff Trompo perhaps?

lincolnrick

Mine came today, it's in pristene condition!!! Thanks Chris, if there was a Hero tag for you, I'd vote you up.

SpinQueen

Woot, got mine today....pretty pretty and heavy, wow!   Thanks Neffy  :-*

Neff

Glad y'all like them!
I'll ship almost everybody else's tomorrow, thanks for your patience, I've been kinda busy.

I figured out how to un-freeze one if it happens to anybody;
The cap is about 1-1/4" diameter and so is a 1" PVC pipe (1-1/4" outer diameter).
All ya need is 6" or so, tape the heck out of it to the cap, and twist-a-roo.
That spark-plug anti-seize stuff seems to work well, too.

Some of the caps seemed like they like to unscrew, it seems the the anti-seize helps with that, too.

Whatever the clear stuff is protecting the logo didn't seem like it was dry yet, so some got kinda dusty.  I found a dab of  mineral spirits cleans it up well.

Trevor

thanks for coordinating this and all the hard work Chris.

figs

Yeah!  Got mine too.  Thanks so much Chris!  It was really great of you to coordinate this for everyone. I got home pretty late last night to find the package waiting for me.  The colors look great. It's a little smaller and denser than I imagined it,  so far I'm really liking it.

Dizzy

I agree with Figs.  I knew it was gonna be heavy, but I didn't expect it to be so small so the density is surpising.  At first I was a little nervous about throwing it but I'm glad I got over my fear.  I really like the overall feel of the top.  I would say it's definitely not a good top for a true beginner, but with just a little experience under your belt it's awesome.  I'm sure that as I get better I'll enjoy it even more.

I tried it with a variety of string gauges and the thick string it comes with is very good for it, as well as the thick Trompo-string from Dale.  I had trouble when I switched over to thinner-gauge string.

I'm eager to see if any of you crafty types out there grind down the tip string-notch to make it compatible with a thinner string.

Chris, thanks again.

My UPS guy went right on by.  He waved but did not stop.  :(
