Well, another player from Chile claims that he registered in time. So we now have 98 players!  :o
Videos are tricking in (28 so far). I expect an avalanche Saturday and Sunday.
Gerardo just told me that his video is ready  8)
Just 3 days more for me to record one!  :-\

There are no instructions for titling the video. But what you suggest is a very good format.
Good luck!

Hi folks!  I do not see instructions on how to send my link to the review panel? I probably missed it somewhere but I do not see it on the web page for the contest.

The mailing address is since yesterday on the rules page: worlds2020@spintops.org (if the spam engines get it at this time there is no problem).

Right now 56 videos from 53 players have been submitted and I know of at least 7 more that are on the way. Yeah!

I sent my link to that address, i think i left my name off the email and i dont remember if sending an email tells the people i sent the email to who it's from, but it's on my video, sorry if that adds a hiccup in anything.

Players can now make their videos public if they want.

I will post a complete list of links later today (except the ladder, so the result remains unknown).

This has been a great success! I ray of light in this year of the pandemic.

A total of 77 players sent videos, of which 7 sent different videos for traditional and open = 84 top videos viewing marathon!  >:D
As you will see the play level covers the spectrum from beginner to truly mind-blowing.  :o
There are also some very original performances.  8)

Special thanks to Taka who organized a record number of Japanese players and handled the organization on that side. And also to Cuper who brought many new players and countries to the world contest.

Six years ago I relented under Jim's insistence to create a spintop association. Now we can see how good  that idea was, as this wouldn't have been possible if ITSA did not exist.
Thanks to everybody who has become a member and has contributed to this effort.

PS: We received one video from a player (Xisco) who was not in the original list of registered players. This was due to some miscommunication. So the total number of registered players was 99.  ;)

Really happy to see many players.
Here is the list for Japanese players.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKxpxR-XlL7fVdCN3KtQSEzgi9LCb1L7g

Our oldest player is 80,and he has many “new” tricks in freestyle.
We also have 74 years old female player who did perfect freestyle( no mistake).
Chonkakegoma people has other community here and never upload their skill online.

Thanks to have a such a great opportunity .ITSA did great job and thanks for organizing,ta0.

Please give comment to Japanese players and I will translate it to tell them.

2020 World VIDEOS!
« Reply #14 on: October 26, 2020, 04:06:49 PM »

I updated the competitors page with links to all the videos, minus ladder division.

https://spintops.org/2020-contestants/

Because so many traditional videos were also submitted to the open division, I only linked under open division list to the videos exclusive to that division. But if you assume that no traditional freestyle is competitive in the open division you would be very mistaken  :-X

The names that do not have a link in either division, did not submit a video. The names that are linked on both divisions, sent 2 different videos.

Enjoy!  :)

PS: You'll notice that I don't have a video. Saturday my right shoulder started to hurt a little and Sunday it got worse and worse, until I couldn't throw anymore (still hurts). :'(  Not everything is lost. I now have a nice setup to film videos and got lots of practice.
