accidentally did a ' Merry go round'
« on: March 21, 2020, 06:37:28 AM »

 Hello folks,
I was practicing in my garden a few days ago.
Doing some boomerangs with my top,  and out of nowhere,  I did a Merry go round  ;D
I was not planning on landing it,  but it just happened.
Boomerang my top,  and I don't know how, but it suddenly hanged on the string,  spinning horizontal .
I did it! Without planning it.
Did it 3 times on accedent,  that day.
Did some of you also happened to land a trick without planning it?  By accedent?

The only thing good about the corona virus is that we have plenty of time to practice!
Still hope it will stop . that we can be with our family  again.
I wish you all the strenght to carry on,  and stay strong!

Many greets,
 Hydrona

I have heard some stories of accidents leading to new tricks.  Sadly, my accidents have all led to injury.  Stubbed fingers, hits to the body, bloody lips and most infamously, a black eye at 2010 worlds in Orlando.

Hello folks,

Everyone alright?
I should have told it sooner, but last week I accidentally did a wire walker with a bearing top! The one I got from Larry.
It was so awesome! Sadly I did not have it on camera... But with practice I maybe can do it again.
It was really fun and got me excited about practicing some more.
Really need to practice indoors. But I don't have the guts.. yet.
Is it possible? Did anyone ever did a wire walker with a bearing top?
I thought it was not possible, until I did that.

Another trick which I have not planned on doing.
Again. But so much fun!

Warm greets

??? ??? ??? ??? I think that we know wirewalkers can't be done with bearing tops... I wonder how you did it? One thing that's possible is that you sort of slid the top through the string...?

That the question! I don't know how I did it.
I was messing around with wrapping the string around the tip, and accidentally did that.
I wish I had it on camera..

Sounds like fun!!!  A wire walker with a bearing top?!?!

I agree with Texture about the slide but the thought makes me want to try it.
