Throwing tops AND yo-yo's
« on: March 13, 2020, 03:20:14 PM »

Hello folks,

I Recently got back into yo-yoing.  That was my first 'spinning toy' back then, when I started.
Just to say,  I'm stil here, and I like playing with both tops AND yo-yo's.
They seem very different  , but are they not both spinning things?
I feel the spin top is more advanced,  a different level of skill.  You can't loose a yo-yo  , it's tied on the string.  A spin top on the other hand. .you need to master not only throw,  but also balance etc.. it's a great challenge for me.  To keep me busy learning!
But I feel that I like both,  Just try to have a bit of variety between the two.
At days when it's raining,  I keep inside yo-yoing,  when it's sunny I play with spin tops outside.
And have fun  :D
Ps: 7 second hand yo-yo's are on the way to my mailbox.
A great deal for 30 €.
Soon my collection of tops and yo-yo's wil be equal :)
Have a nice day everyone!

Now learn juggling to complete the trifecta.
Three weeks should do it for someone your age. It took me three years but I am chipping away at it. Actually it is kind of chipping away at me as I am getting into clubs now, but you get the idea.
