I wish I could be there.  I have wonderful memories of this festival, even if I was only there for a few hours and it was a number of years ago.  Yet, I did meet the Allovus brothers at that time.  Lao is the inventor of the corkscrew.  I did not get to talk with him much but his brother chatted with me quite a bit.  Matt Ritter would always laugh when I told this story because he said he was also there, and that I just did not notice him!!!

I was also there but I'm easy to miss.

This year I did meet SpinLynn (again apparently, I'm pretty sure we met in Cleveland a few years ago).

Unfortunately, work has limited my ability to attend this year.

Good times though!

We arrived about 2 today.  It was nearly a top dessert.
Rachel, MykMyk and I were the only spinners in sight.  Perhaps there was more spinning on Saturday.
MykMyk and I did do some top passing and got some success.  Since it is much easier to pass to the right, we figured out that we could just turn around and always pass right.
I taught a couple folks how to spin a plate. Thanks Jim Neff for teaching me.

Sorry about the top desert down at the groundhog day juggling fest.  So, I looked it up and I am pretty sure the time I was at the Atlanta juggling fest was in 2003.  robtsou, you think you were there then?  It was a Sunday so that would probably have been February 2nd.

Mike, you and I go way back, even if we never met up. The Atlanta IJA festival was the first juggling festival I ever attended. I was a newbie juggler and was never so intimidated in my life. Never ever had I seen such juggling. I don't think I was even into tops at the time.

That is crazy!!!  I was sure you were around long before that with your juggling and top spinning.  I remember how inspired I was by your merry-go-round at Madison.

Mike,  I've probably been going for 20 years and haven't missed one in the last 15 or 16!

Sorry I missed you guys on Sunday!  I had to work late Saturday night and woke up so late on Sunday I just passed on it.
