I am looking at some of the people born on this day.....Angelina Jolie, Michelle Phillips, Bruce Dern, basketballer Xavier McDaniel.  How did they miss mailman?  I understand how they missed me but come on, the great mailman?  Anyway, happy birthday to you.  Hope you have a great day with lots of good adventures and celebrations.  Thanks again for all your help in getting Don's collection to Miamisburg!!!

Thanks Kirk and jmadrigal.  One day late isn't so bad as it highlights an amazing fact about our birthday as described in the paper today.  China announced an estimated 300 deaths at the Tiananmen Square Massacre on the fourth.  Outside estimates put the numbers in the thousands.  All the protesters were gone on the 5th except for "tank man".  His brief refusal to allow a line of tanks to pass became an iconic description of political resistance.  And he did all of this on the day after all the massacres.  I knew he was grave but now I see even more courage in that famous photo!!!
