hi folks,forum lookers , ola chicos chicas,and the rest of the world
dear ITSA members
i wanted to keep you informed of our current actions
support to La Vuelta en Trompo a Borotá.Venezuela

preparation for the world contest
after long exchanges with the Cleveland organizers we have obtained a fair deal
we'll get super fancy award trophies and access to a special room dedicated to tops for the 3/4 days
thanx to Val our itsa negotiator and to Unkle Steve for his help
we plan to organize the next "raffle" soon

Thanks for posting the update, Jim. I enjoyed seeing the Venezuela festival pics - was the crowd there just to celebrate top spinning? I wonder if there were other events being held at the same time. 

I hope folks will post photos and/or video of the Cleveland event this year.

I enjoyed seeing the Venezuela festival pics -
so did I !
especially in the video when the crowd follows the players down the road

This is done every year the Saturday of Holy Week, so there must be some other Easter celebrations around, but no, the festival is specifically just a spintop thing.
In 3 years it should take place the 50th consecutive event and I am hoping I can go  :)
