Looking for Toycrafter Monarch Tips
« on: March 18, 2019, 02:33:15 PM »

I bought most of Don Olney's new old stock of Monarch tops from the Toycrafter days, and I am short 16 tips. Does anyone have any they can spare?

I figure that most of us who have been spinning for a while have one or two of these tips in a parts box somewhere, so with the help of all of you I think I can get tips in all of these tops, and then get them into the hands of interested people who want to buy them after my shows. If you have even one tip, I'll take it! The best thing might be for anyone going to Worlds in Cleveland this year, bring tips along! I'll give you a cookie. If you don't like cookies, we can work something else out.

I do a spin top routine in my show, and have been pleasantly surprised how many people are interested in buying tops. I give everyone who buys a top a DVD with instructions on how to spin it, so I'm hoping to encourage a few more top spinners out there.

Wow!!!  You are still short?  Did the tips I send you work out?  Seems like it was a rainbow of tip colors.  And if I bring another tip to worlds can I still get a cookie?

The tips you gave me got me most of the way! Most fit, a bunch didn't, but I'm really close now!

I will totally give you a cookie for another tip :D

I have some Toycrafter tips. They are from the later generation (circa 2000). I'll bring them to worlds (a reminder close to the date would be helpful).
Are you going to MC worlds? If not, I would love to see you on stage with a top  ;)

Great! Thanks.

I am not MCing at Worlds, and I really should compete. I will try to put something together.

I have the tips you need for the Mighty Monarc! I read that Mike sent you some tips that didn't fit. Would you swap them for the black tips that I have?

You should still give Mike a cookie when you see him.

One cookie for Mike, coming up!
