Yesterday, I visited my youngest sister and she had a birthday cake for me as we couldn't celebrate 2 weeks ago. Not only it was the favorite cake from my childhood (filled with dulce de leche and a merengue crust) but there was a finger top between the candles! It's a Pinocchio top, the one on the right:

I believe the one on the left is also Pinocchio. From the stamp on the backside, I think it's Japanese:
Hakone is a city south of Tokyo. I may have got it from Don Olney's collection, I'm not sure.
It looks pretty old. The Disney movie is from 1940 and this could be post WWII. But the Italian children's novel The Adventures of Pinocchio is from 1883, so it could be earlier. And perhaps it's not even Pinocchio.
