A quick video after a very busy day at work. Posted with four hours left of 2018 International Top Spinning Day.

I hope everyone had a chance to spin something today.

I did spin several times today but the opportunity wasn't there to have as much fun with this as I would have liked.  I spun the tops on JNeffs top calendar.  I spun the make-up container top from Don Olney's collection (the empty item was returned today by our organist).  I enjoyed John Buechele's John Markus top that he left from nationals.  I spun a magnetic top with paper clips.  I even spun a gyroscope tonight at open mic night.  Sadly, the day kind of snuck up on me.

butterfingers: is that a fire konghzu?  :o  Did you get it like that or did you modify a regular kongzhu?
I suggest the next time you film it with more light. Something I learned with juggling torches is that it doesn't have to be very dark to be impressive.

Mike: that's a great variety of spinning that you could squeeze into the ITSD, even if the day took you by surprise.

Rene: Yeah, that little spinning ballerina ( Twirl-a-Rina, 1997 Lanard Toys) works very well. But the other day my brother-in-law saw another of my spinning top dancers (I have several types in the collection) and teased me about it. He called his little daughter and told her that we could play together   :D

Love the videos posted by ta0 and butterfingers! Delightful toy, that Twirl-a-Rina. Won't be easy, but I've been mulling over a LEGO version since the moment I saw it.

Wish I could have done more to celebrate the day, but still managed to play with and test 2 official LEGO finger/ripcord top sets now in stores (Spinjitzu Masters and Airjitzu flyers) and write up the findings
here.

Wow. Butterfingers that was great. I believe that was a hula hoop kongzhu attached somehow to burning steel wool. Am I correct?

Hi, Ta0. It's a regular kongzhu that I rigged to hold some steel wool that I set on fire. I'll repost when I have time - I work until 7PM and by the time I shot the short video it was much darker than I would have liked.

Thanks, Jim. And yes, you are correct (as usual)!

....and now for something completely different.

Here is a picture of a vehicle I saw a couple weeks ago. Anyone care to venture a guess who owns it? This may qualify as an itopspin 'Easter Egg' like they put in video games. I'll explain why it's related to the video if anyone is able to identify the owner.
