we can invite 2 players for the festival

Jeremy mac creary and Jose madrigal have been nominated (after a unanimous vote)
to be the ambassadors of spintops in Marines
we'll have the new National champ and creator of 3D tops
and the one-and-only ingenuous engineer of lego tops

We will provide for free accommodation and food for the whole duration of the festival , airport shuttles

around 500$

accommodation : usually we sleep at Ludo's who has a roomy place plenty of camping beds if needed

That sounds terrific!!!

Good work setting all of that up.  I am happy for you.  It is fun to read the history of your event and all the countries you have hosted.  I look forward to hearing more as everything develops.

As honored by this generous invitation as I am astounded! And the CXO -- the "X" standing for anything you could possibly be in charge of -- says I can come!

Just don't expect to hear any French from me beforehand, lest you change your minds.

I'll need to tap the forum's expertise as to the best way to get a large box of LEGO tops to France in time for the show.

Congratulations to Jose and Jeremy! And my hat off to Ludo, Jim (and now also Mermouy) for organizing this every year.

The festival is great, great, fun. Miamisburg and Marines should be sister cities!

Thanks, Jorge! I'm especially honored by this invitation (i) because it comes from an organization generally more interested in throwing tops than finger tops, and (ii) because of my rather unconventional medium. In fact, dead bloody chuffed, as the Brits would say.

Also looking forward to meeting some of the folks I've come to e-know through this forum. Thanks to Ludo, Jim, and Mermouy for this wonderful opportunity!

Q: There have already been 7 annual Marines festivals. Have the Worlds ever been held at this event?

I have tickets for "cirque de demain" whole saturday and I was thinking about going one day earlyer to paris and somehow meet you at Marines.

Any ideas regarding transportation... Paris-Marines (Friday morning) Marines-Paris (Saturday morning)

That shouldn't be a problem, Paris neighborhood infrastructure is quite well developed, you'll have to look for arriving at "Cergy" station, the regional train is called RER.
Let us know as soon as possible when you know for sure when you arrive in Cergy, like once you're  in the train? (To avoid waiting too long for us at the station ...
I'll P.M you with few phone numbers in case of...

See ya soon!
