Belgium won today and finished third while England fourth. Best finish ever by Belgium and (tied) second best finish by England.

Tomorrow France will be able to add a second star to it's patch:

But . . .

4-2.  Nice job, France and Jim.  I was shocked to go to itopspin.com and not see a post by Jim about the victory.  Then it hit me.....he is probably still out celebrating!!!

It was cool to see Macron also celebrating pretty hard, even in the rain.

Congratulations, Jim and Ludo, Mermouy and all of the other toupie players on the forum!!!!!

I watched the game in the home of French people, with around 20 others, so I celebrated long with them.
I confess it was difficult not to feel for Croatia, the underdogs with a big heart and the fun flag. They played much better than France in the first half and if it wasn't for the involuntary penalty, that forced them to risk more, it could have ended differently.

France has a very young team, so they could repeat in Qatar 2022.

Allez les blues!
