It's kinda ugly at the end, I'm really scrambling to catch the top.  I just watched Wizard ta0's Staircase to Heaven video again, my memory thought when he did it, the top just perched atop his hand at the end of the run like some sort of trained bird, but he does drop his hand to catch it.  I can do it with my Wolffy Hollow Dogs (with a modified tip) and I can almost do it with a stock Cinco Estrellas Ultra.  Man, those Mexican trompos can wirewalk like crazy.  I can do a wirewalker from the left hand, little merry go round, cable car, another little merry go round and ANOTHER cable car (Zorro and a half).  Can't do that stuff with the Rip Cord, they just walk too fast no matter how light you have the tension.  But they are great for that Skywalker trick.  It's Friday night, wife and son are asleep, I'm bored.

Congrats!! It was time somebody else started doing it. Well, I think Dale told me he can do it. And so does Pulp 

I just looked at the tutorial clip and on that one I do lower the hand to control it. I think I do that specially with the HP. But it can be done finishing with the top spinning on the hand kept high. I created the trick using a sidewinder and that is how I liked to finish. The main problem is that if you do that it tends to stay bound on the string and it is not as easy to continue with other tricks.

I recall that soon after I created it, Dale asked for suggestions for tricks for the compulsories and it was one of my suggestions 

The original name is staircase to heaven but because of the song many players started calling it stairway to heaven and I pretty much gave up.
