Wow! Incredible!
I once visited a low-rider convention with crazy custom decorated cars and I tried to imagine one with a spintop motif. But I never thought I was going to see one (unless I did it myself  ;) )

I watched the other videos he has on youtube: a 3 minute regeneration (but the camera shutter is too slow) and one with a bag with a humongous number of tips. From a search for Trompos Cuper I found the car belongs to Marco Antonio Palma, "El Cuper," from Mexico. I believe Salvador told me that he saw Palma when visited Guadalajara and showed him some of his new regens (Palma said Gerardo's foot start was old news, but he did not show it to him).

Anyway, according to this good article (in Spanish), El Cuper has been traveling to every little town in the state of Jalisco for the last 6 years demonstrating tops. Interestingly, Jalisco is currently organizing an Olympiad of Traditional Games, and Palma is helping to promote it.

Thanks Ta0. Your answer clarifying my poor post.

Very nice the link to the cuper's history. The trompo into the heart.

That is the coolist car I've ever seen!!  The top in the front grill is such a great touch.  Muy Bueno!!  Can't thank you enough for sharing.

That is a great car.  It made my day as I laughed and laughed all the way through the clip.  Thanks!!!

Yes. I told you that. That was in the middle of last year. Time passes quickly. Palma is maybe not very known by the world community of top players, but, in essence, he`s got the same level of game of Gerardo or Gustavo. According to Gus, Palma learns quickly the tricks, and he was the second person who learnt to do the rueda de la fortuna (bastones).
I think is a good person and a very good player too, and, according to him, lastly, these last years, he is much more enfocated in fabricate tops and toys than in improve his game. He posted some messages in the saturnoforum in the item "Gustavo Castro Video" He makes the Cuper tops, and he is one of the main players who promotes the top, mainly, in the state of Xalisco. Currently, Palma lives in the city of Guadalajara.
