@all thanks for the help, yeah, I've been able to help the case 90% of the way. It's still not dead smooth but enough to make it very very enjoyable to play.

I'm very happy now. I will have to do all my tops tho!

Once you balance a top well, you are ruined for life.  You will always have putty and tape in your top bag.  You will want to balance everything that spins. We are sorry to contribute to your downfall :) :)

Yep, I'm looking at all my tops now :) the grande are a bit painful b/c I know the weight right will move when I play so it's bit worth less to balence but still!

Stretch the weight ring just a tiny bit. Most TGs do not have this issue. I have 1 or 2 that did. Also if a TG that was smooth starts to shake after a drop, just wack it (gently) on the floor crown first. The weight ring will pop back into place.

Same process with my new QSH this morning! Amazing smooth now!!!

Fun part of the QSH tho is that it doesn't really need any tape.
