so this arrived the day before worlds so figured id wait a little while before posting this right on the heels of world to give the competitors their rightful respect eh.

gentlmen i have come to the conclusion that shootist is a spiffy human of the highest order.
what i have in my hands is beyond my wildest dreams.
i dont even know what to say other than thank you shootist, youve made a dream come true i hadnt even dared to dream budd.

heres a very mediocre freestyle in partial darkness, the low light is SO disorienting so please forgive 

and heres another in total darkness at 3am lol this was reeeeeealy difficult to do 

and an acrobat!??!??!?!??

oh i didnt know that there was 2 versions  is there anything structurally different or is it just the paint job??? the ink blot area feels pretty ruff and im very surprised but it doesnt seem to affect how it plays, weird eh???

Jack, I'm glad you like the spin tops I sent to you. I bought the 8 Ball and Acrobat for Omar (Forum Member) at the 2013 Worlds Yoyo Contest. I got the Colombian from the same event. When I received the 8 Ball Top the bearings and tip were damaged. However the top body was in excellent shape and I believed it to be an Eric Wolff creation.  I did my best to fix the top and make it spin again. Several years later and after looking over my small collection, I decided to send you those tops. I knew that you would take care of them provide them a good home.

I truly hope you enjoy them for a long time.

thank you sir. the top seems to be in excellent shape, i have a spintastics "players" tip installed atm and it plays like a dream. your craftsmanship and attention to detail is incredible sir

I just now watched the videos. The freestyle in complete darkness is crazy! 

The only difference between the inkblot and the other Acrobats was the paint job. It originally cost $110 instead of $100 for the solid paint, bought directly from YYF (but I believe later when Yoyoexpert sold the remaining ones they were all the same price.)
