The International Juggling Association is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year with a great looking festival in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  It's a week long event running from July 10-15.  I'm arriving Tuesday and staying till Saturday. I'll be seeing Mark Hayward and SpinLynn there for sure. Anybody else?

Rick,

Jim Neff mention to me yesterday that he planned on being there.
He was planning a 2 day drive, leaving this morning, so he should arrive on Tuesday also.

Enjoy!

I saw that Mark is in charge of the snack table. The spintop players should be well fed  :P

This is why I would love to be retired.  These fests are the greatest.  Don't get me wrong....I love the world top/yoyo contest.  But the big IJA gatherings have such a diverse group of people doing such unique and creative stuff.  And now that there are fewer implements at worlds (no diabolo ladder or spinning pizzas or pen flipping for example) there seems to be a little less stimulation for me.  Plus, the IJA fest is longer and the times I have been there for the whole week have been so hilarious with the build up of jokes and running gags and the championships.  Hope lincolnrick and JNeff and Mark Hayward have a great time.  Someday I will be with you again!!!

Good luck with that Mike. How many times have you heard from a retired person "I have no idea how I used to have time to work?"
