Progress Report
« on: June 06, 2017, 05:50:13 PM »

Wow I'm pretty excited about the progress I've made! Just under two years ago I decided I should learn to throw a top, my only goal being to land a Spinner, and as of last week I'm doing Sewing Machines and Drumbeats! I never would have imagined I could get this far and it is really only possible from the help I've gotten here so thanks everyone!
Now let's see... this Joker Choker trick...

Congratulations Diz!!!! That it's great! Welcome to the regen club! You are a bona fide advanced player!
Learning Joker Choker should be relatively fast now.
It's easier to start if the top is already spinning fast. Use a short string at the beginning.

Nice progress! I'm a bit behind but I'm making forward progress. I'm currently not doing things like sewing machines and drumbeats.... but soon perhaps!!

Keep up the fantastic progress!

Thanks guys it's been a lot of fun.
Chris, didn't you say you practice in Elk Grove? I should see if I can get over there as I'm only a few miles N. in Sac.

Yup, I'm in Elk Grove. I practice over at Wackford Aquatic Center. Yeah, you're close by.

theroybit is more in the Citrus Heights area but he's usually busy most weekends so it seems.

We can make meet-up arrangements any time!

Diz,
Congratulations. Regens feel so good and open up a so many possibilities!
Drumbeat still is not consistent for me.  The top keeps standing up. My brain knows what to do about it. My hands don't yet follow.

Thanks Kirk! Drumbeats had me in tangles for a while until I figured out how to work the line to avoid that. So far so good!
