Best (and only) use I've found for the elec-trick LED so far.

Wow!  :o  8) Great photo!

Is that the actual spin of the top we are visually seeing (from a boomerang)? Let's see: 3,000 RPM = 50 turns per second. Looks about right.
Fantastic! You have my vote!

Isn't that a Big Shock LED?

Welcome to the forum!!!

As many as you wish. But note that you will be competing against yourself.
However, if somebody nominates photos that are similar, I might select one for the contest (so they don't divide votes unnecessarily).

Yes, the LED is mounted near the shell so it shows the spin nicely. That show 5 seconds of spin but at the end it's not doing much.

The top is an Elec-Trick, YYF don't seem to carry the Big Shock so I haven't been able to find one.

Multiples are OK.  Even encouraged.

Finger tops probably don't stand a chance here, but at least these are kinda trippy...

Thanks for the photos Val. The one from 1964 is wonderful, but unfortunately not eligible for the contest as it was not taken in 2016 or 17. But, please, don't remove it  :) Was it a boomerang under the leg?

By the way, I changed the "spider" photo from Colombia to the larger version. To do that, I just go to the photo after it is uploaded, right-click to copy the url and replace the thumb image. Probably the imgbb service doesn't like it  :-\ ).

Jeremy: those photos are psychedelic!  :P

Thanks! Living in Colorado tends to put things in a different light these days.   >:D

Val:  Yes, under the leg.  You can see the top at my ankle.  :)  This was from the newspaper.  There are 2 other shots from that article....maybe I'll post them sometime.  Oops...guess I didn't read the fine print about the photo needing to be 2016-2017. :P
