My apologies for the long winded answer.
You must be kidding. This is a very informative answer! Thanks for sharing the information and the photos!
Who provided you the history of the evolution of this style of Pangkah (striking) gasing? It is wonderful!

I would love to get one of the banned tops in my collection. But I would definitely not spin it with the bearings still in it. I have seen first hand what centrifugal force can do (e.g. when Holey ejected the acrylic lenses)!

My apologies for the long winded answer.

Don't apologize -- I enjoyed every word and photo! Besides, you've got nothin' on me in the long-winded department.

Didn't realize how close these things are to bona fide weapons. The safety concerns are clearly quite real. I have scars on my walls from LEGO tops disintegrating at 2,000 RPM, and that's just ABS plastic. (Not a word to the wife!)

Hi,

I got my gasing from "Marfima - Malaysian Leisure and recreation council".
They were promoting Malaysian Spintops during TAFISA World Sport for All Games in Jakarta.

All the best
