Joined Chonkakegoma workshop as teacher

Last week,I joined workshop.
The masters came from Kumamoto,and they had workshop in Tokyo.Not so many footage,but had great time with Chonkake.

You got a great facility for the workshop!  :o
I liked to read the history at the beginning and how the tradition was brought back. I also liked seeing the JohnM top.  ;)

I was surprised at 1:50 by the upside-down play with the chonkakegoma: is that a traditional style? In that case it would be much older than our UD play.

The tutorial on the jump rope is great! Very impressive trick! At 3:43 I thought the guy had lost the top, but I was mistaken!  ;D

Wonderful video, Taka! I'm strictly a finger top guy, but if I could learn to play throwing tops of any kind, chonkakegoma would be my first choice, hands down.

Curious, why the white gloves? Traditional? Practical in some way? Both?
