Lots of people have commented on the shape, and I think it's beautiful, too! Curious as to what went into the choices involved?

The shape that people like might have just been good luck! I did not put a lot of thought into the shape.

1. I had a 4" piece of delrin to start with.
2. I had the size tip that Thor made me based on the drawing Kirk put up for us.
3. I used a 1 1/2 inch drill bit to hollow out the top, so that set the crown shape for me.
4. Everything else was just done by hand and by sight.

It was a slightly larger size when I first completed it, but I found it was too heavy, so I risked chucking it back into the lathe and turning it smaller to take about 75 grams off of it.
Luckily it worked.

I really do like the feel of it, I just wish I could start getting better at the more difficult regen tricks!
