his bed doesn't reach more than 85C. which isn't enough to make abs stick properly

Me too - but I use blue tape - and I get ABS to stick just fine.
Also, must turn off filament fan.

So I think I have a finished top. So far this is playing very nice. I will upload it this weekend for those interested.  I can also upload designs I thought were not as good for comparison if people with 3D printers want to see the difference in play. I shifted the weight ring down on this one more than normal.

The red and blue both look very nice - the difference must be subtle or I need to practice my observational skills.

It's generous of you to share the files to print the tops. I hope those with access to 3D printers take advantage of it.

This might show the difference in profile better. After the outside made me happy I started shifting weight on the inside.

Nice looking tops! Is that a Strummol8 tip?

Very nice. The picture of the red and orange tops - I would guess the orange one will do better on line diameter and trick better because of it's shape. Beautiful tops. Time to buy a Tuolo on ebay and show us what you can do with it.

It's a tip I got in France from Ludo. It's alot like the Strummol8 tip but not the Strummol8 tip. If you have an extra Strummol8 tip this top will work with it :) I know we all have spare Strummol8 tips right ;)

The orange is a Strommol for comparisson. The red is my finished new top to share with everyone. I actually like my red one better for fixed tip play. I must warn that I am evaluating these after a couple beers. Which ever makes me better wins :P

Hope someone gives this a try. V3 is great! I included 3 others that I liked less. V4 and V3 are the same except for the mass is shifted higher in V4. Print these two and compare if you want to see what shifting the weight around does to the play. V1 and V2 were a starting point. I would rather not talk about V5  ::)

When upgrading the extruder on my printer I broke a little part and now I'm waiting for the replacement.
I'll print them when I'm back in business.
Thanks a lot for sharing the designs.

UPDATE!!!
If anyone downloaded the files there was an error with V3. I fixed and uploaded the correct file just now so please redownload it and it should be good.
I got done with a print a bit ago and noticed the hole was not all the way through for the tip. I checked my model and I had accidentally rolled back that feature.  :-[
I apologize for the error.

Aww... I need to find somewhere to print these now :) They look nice. :)

Out of curiosity, would you be able to do the bearing assembly seat for 2 outer bearing & the OWB ?

Anyway, more of a curiosity b/c I don't have any 3d printer anymore :O(

Thanks for sharing Jose tho!
Cheers

I could do the bearing but don't for a few reasons. If I did I wouldn't share or sell it anyway. This one is different enough from the Strummol8 and only fixed tip. I don't want to step on toes.
