this this is a rather interesting colourway. its 2x2 red/blue and it is has a very interesting optical illusion effect. it sort of makes your eyes feel like theyre twitching around @-@ (at least in person), and also when the string is moving its purple @-@ what the heck man!?!?? im just a simple jack trying to make simple string!!! not freaking optical illusions!!!  ;D

This is all such great stuff Jack! It is inspiring me to want to make string too. That one string causing optical illusions may be that both colors are highly saturated and probably the same value on a gray scale making it appear to vibrate. I'm guessing in a black and white photo they would appear identical with no twitching but what fun would that be?! :D

thanks diz!!! ive said before and i say it again: i think there is a distinct possibility that im the only top spinner without a uni degree lol!!!
youre right, i tried a b/w filter and yes the 2 colours are almost the same  :o

You are, perhaps, the best top spinner without a uni degree :)
I suppose it is good that I did not know about tops in school. However I did not let my studies get in the way of kites and model airplanes.  I was able to fulfill the role of making the top half of may graduating class possible.
