Jupiter Roller Adjustments?
« on: June 07, 2016, 11:38:48 PM »

Who has tested the weight positions of the Jupiter top?
I am ready to break out the wrench, but I thought I would ask first. I also thought that I would try removing it.
Thoughts?

hello Kirk
I have tried to tune the "calibrator de vibraciones",with mellow success :(
I found it better placed near the bottom, but very often the nuts do not hold

If I recall correctly, when I originally experimented with the Jupiter I ended up putting the adjustable weight at the bottom (close to the tip). I actually did not see much difference when changing the height. I think the weight should have been larger to make a difference in play.
If I was you I would just lock it in place with thread lock or an extra nut instead of removing it, just not to lose the weight and any eventual collecting value of the top.
