The level of play is amazing.  The amount of smiling is huge.
Is Kumamoto a lot of travel for you? Do you take the train?
Thank you for Sharing the video

I thoroughly enjoyed that! Watching it, I almost look forward to old age! The same I feel watching the kongzhu videos from China.
It will be great to see Miki and you performing at worlds!  :)

Maybe he took the airplane. Kumamoto is across the bay from Nagasaki on the southernmost big island.

Kumamoto looks like a very nice city.  It is a whole new world for me as I read about it and think about their active chongkakegoma club.  I wish I could find just a few others in our area to regularly spin tops with!

I found some interesting information on Wikipedia.  Kumamoto has a sister city by the name of......San Antonio!!!  That means there are organized groups trying to visit between these two cities.  Plus, they have the local government and media behind them.  I am sure they would love to send a chongkakegoma friend over with a group to Kumamoto!  For sure, they would love to see some of their spinning and more when a group from there comes to San Antonio.  I know some about this because I have connected a bit with Miamisburg's sister city which is Owen Sound, Canada.  They have come to our church as part of their visit.  But they are not into spinning activities so I have missed out on that connection.

This could be a good opportunity for you, ta0!!!

Wow! I need to find more about this! Thanks for the heads up!
However, the top article on the Japan America Society of San Antonio website is a request for donations to benefit the victims of the Kumamoto earthquake!  :o  :'( They had several earthquakes on April 16th, including a 7.0 magnitude that caused considerable damage and at least 35 death. This was just a few days after Taka visited!

Oh my!!!  I did not see that information about the earthquake.  So sorry to hear about that.  Hope all our chongkakegoma brothers are ok.  I would have included chongkakegoma sisters but I can't remember if there were any women spinning in that video!

Ha ha ha!!!  I am in the Halle room on the haunted 4th floor of the Renaissance.  It is top spinning time and we have a nice group that started gathering at noon.  I played this video from the chonkakegoma meeting and put the music up full blast.  Guess who started wandering my way?  Ha ha!  How great to get Taka's attention and hear his comments about the visit to Kumamoto and the spinners there.  This really seems neat to me and I am wondering if a visit there could ever happen for me?
